About Me...

Im Sarah - part creator of the site you most likely linked here from. I was born and raised in a small town on Vancouver Island leaving here briefly and spending a couple of months in Vancouver just to see what all the fuss was about. Turns out, island life suits me just fine and thats good - cuz I ended up meeting a super cute, super cool guy out here who just so happens to be my co partner to Central America. What makes for an interesting read during these next 5 months is that he also just so happens to be...my one hundred and 80 degree, polar...opposite.

Im the oldest of two children - my parents themselves are avid travellers, going international at least once or twice a year. In my 24 years Ive been to Mexico twice, Hawaii, California, Florida, Oregon, and the Dominican Republic. Ive never been outside the country for longer than 2 weeks however...

I bartend and waitress although graduated from Applied Business and Technology last summer. I have yet to do something with it and dont mind because without the tips, theres a crazy high possibility this trip wouldnt be happening for at least another year or so.

Im the kind of girl who, before meeting my co partner, turned her nose up at hiking or anything outdoorsy (unless, of course, it included suntanning on the beach sipping Mai Tais and Chi Chis) The kind of girl who will trade runners in for stillettos, spend hours in the bathtub, choose style over comfort, match her nails to her outfit, and listen to techno.

Im afraid of hospitals and anything hospital related, terrified of spiders, and still sleep with the light on. Why this guy is taking me to Central America for 5 months is really...beyond me. It could just be that the best part of checking up on us will be simply be to see how well I survive :)
